Lepto takes its name from the Greek word for thin. As an Empa spin-off near Zurich, Switzerland, we bring advanced terahertz (THz) research into real-world systems through compact, efficient THz devices — from filters to beam splitters and polarizers — for telecom, space, and beyond. Backed by peer-reviewed research, patents, and advisors with startup and engineering expertise, we combine scientific rigor with real-world execution to make the THz spectrum accessible, scalable, and ready for industry.
